Our rides have been going much better now that I have help schooling him. James rides him every Friday and really jumps him to keep him going correct and he ride him fora few minutes on Wednesday afternoons this way I get on right after him. Steph rides him on Mondays right before my lesson and on Thursdays. It has been working out really well. Everyone seems to be benefiting from all the extra ride time.
Reiss did get his pulse therapy the other day. I am not sure if it is working yet. She said it can take a few times for it to kick in. The pulse therapy helps to move the blood around the body to sore or damaged areas. With more blood moving to certain areas it helps to heal them and make them heal faster. Steph had a miracle happen to her one horse with pulse therapy. Her one older horse got really sick and lost the use of one of his muscles in his back and groin area. They gave it a few days to see if it would go back to normal, it did not. If they did not get it working again, they would have to put him down. So, she heard about pulse therapy from Facebook and contacted the women. For five days she went to her barn and preformed the pulse therapy on him. By the next week the muscle was working again and now he is back to his normal self. He can be ridden and you would never know that they almost had to put him down.
I am hoping that if something is bothering Reiss this will help to fix it. If it works, I will continue to use it if not I am going to try acupuncture on him like I do with my other horse.
